Once he experienced the positive benefits of chiropractic and understood how chiropractic was part of a healthy lifestyle, he changed directions and pursued his doctorate degree in chiropractic.
Dr. James (also goes by Dr. Jim) has lived and practiced in Albuquerque for most of the past 30 years.
He was first introduced to chiropractic after he was involved in a car accident at age 20. At the time, he was pursuing a career as a firefighter and EMT. Once he experienced the positive benefits of chiropractic and understood how chiropractic was part of a healthy lifestyle, he changed directions and pursued his doctorate degree in chiropractic.
He graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences and moved to New Mexico shortly after because he loved the natural beauty of the state, the culture, and the food. When he is not serving our community in the office with amazing chiropractic care, he enjoys helping his wife coach volleyball and watching his daughters play competitive volleyball and basketball, riding 4-wheelers on the many trails of New Mexico, or riding his Harley!

I am New Mexico true, born and raised in Santa Rosa, NM. I studied Biochemistry at UNM. And then earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic.
Since a very young age, my family instilled a more natural approach to health and healing. Especially my grandmother who was a well-known curandera, or healer, for decades in eastern NM.
I strive to live a drug-free lifestyle and use natural and spiritual means to tap into my body’s full healing potential. Teaching my patient’s about the body’s innate ability to self-heal, is something that I enjoy.
I was first introduced to chiropractic while dealing with different sports injuries in middle school and high school. However, it wasn’t until I was exploring health care fields that I found chiropractic to be my calling.
My passion is working with families and people of all ages. I look forward to serving!
