Pain is almost always associated with inflammation. If you are experiencing pain, you have some degree of inflammation present in your body.
Inflammation results from several factors including a joint or muscle being injured or not moving properly. Inflammation is also directly related to many long term chronic health issues including heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, chronic strep throat, ADHD, and the list goes on and on. How good your skin and hair look are also related to your levels of Omega-3 essential fatty acid.
The ratio in your body of Omega-3 essential fatty acids to Omega-6 is a large factor in inflammation, pain and disease. The more grain, dairy, and sugar you eat, the higher your levels of omega-6 acids, and the higher your levels of inflammation.
Your child’s developing brain is made up of Omega-3, which most people do not get anywhere in their diets. (Unless perhaps you eat huge amounts of raw fish and wild elk, which both have high levels.) A lifetime of high Omega-6 levels and low Omega-3 levels has also been correlated with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
This is why we strongly urge you to supplement daily a high quality, non concentrated form of Omega-3 essential fatty acid. This most readily comes from fish oil, and for years now our preferred brand is innate choice which we carry in our offices.
