This includes your first visit where you’ll receive our initial examination, a doctor consultation, and computerized neurological studies to help us get to the root cause of your health concerns. This depends on how healthy or damaged your spine is in addition to how stressed and overworked your nervous system may be. For certain patients, we factor in the level of degenerative (arthritic) changes present. After your initial evaluation, we will know the answer to these questions. We will review this in great detail when we go over the results of your first visit.
If necessary we will refer out for x-rays. This depends on your unique situation of course. In addition, we utilize a technology co-developed by NASA. Chiropractic is vastly safer than any drug or medical procedure. Chiropractic malpractice premiums are quite small compared to those paid by M.D.’s. When a chiropractor makes a mistake, nothing (as opposed to a good result) happens, or one might end up a little sore.
Compare this to these frightening statistics for medicine. It has been estimated that over 100,000 people die each year from prescription drugs taken in the hospital.
Everyone is different! We wish we could predict how fast your body will heal, but there are several factors involved. Our focus is to remove any blockages to your body’s nerve supply, restoring alignment, and allowing your body to heal faster. This healing process is unique to each person. Feeling better is also based on things like inflammation, exercise habits, and stress levels.
Our oldest client is 99 years old! Most weeks we adjust newborn babies as well. 50% of our practice is children. This is because most folks want their children to reach their full potential. 100% nerve supply is an important part of that equation!
